Our timing belts are toothed belt, made of a durable rubber material with embedded high-tensile fibers to provide strength and flexibility. The teeth on our belt mesh with made with special correspondence to the crankshaft and camshaft gears, effectively linking them together. As the crankshaft rotates, it drives the timing belt, which, in turn, drives the camshaft(s) at precisely half the speed of the crankshaft.

The accurate synchronization between the crankshaft and camshaft(s) is vital for proper engine operation. It ensures that the engine’s valves open and close at the correct times in relation to the position of the pistons. If the timing belt fails or loses its proper tension, the engine’s valves may collide with the pistons, leading to severe engine damage.
